Water filtering devices
Water filtration in the Waterpoint System devices is based on coarse (sedimentation) filtration, adsorption with active carbon and microfiltration (ceramic filters). The selection of appropriate filters is based on the analysis of water quality parameters at the customer's location before the implementation of the system.
Sedimentation filter Separation: 5μm
Provides coarse filtration capacity by removing all mechanical impurities larger than 5μm from the water. This filter should be used as a pre-filter which, thanks to (sediment) filtration, protects the downstream filtration system against quick "clogging", stopping larger particles of mechanical impurities.
Activated carbon filter
Separation: 1μm
Capacity: 5.700l
Chlorine odor reduction
Thanks to the adsorption properties, it removes the residues of dissolved and often dangerous organic compounds of natural and anthropogenic origin from the water. It binds chlorine and its compounds and removes some heavy metals. It improves the taste of water and removes the odor that is often unpleasant. It also removes fine particles above 1μm.
Silver-enhanced carbon filter
Separation: 1μm
Capacity: 5.700l
Chlorine odor reduction
Chlorine odor reduction
Lead content reduction
Reduction of bacteria and cysts
It looks and works similarly to the carbon filter, except that it contains silver particles that act as an antibacterial agent. In addition, the filter features enhanced lead contamination reduction properties.
Activated carbon filter with phosphorus
Separation: 1μm
Capacity: 5.700l
Chlorine odor reduction
Thanks to the adsorption properties, it removes the residues of dissolved and often dangerous organic compounds of natural and anthropogenic origin from the water. It binds chlorine and its compounds and removes some heavy metals. Thanks to the phosphorus content, it perfectly descales water. It improves the taste of water and removes the odor that is often unpleasant. It also removes fine particles above 1μm. The filter is recommended for high water hardness.
Ceramic filter
Separation: 0,5μm
Capacity: 10.000l
Chlorine odor reduction
Reduction of bacteria and cysts
It removes dust and other fine suspensions from the water. This filter also has disinfecting properties, removing most of the organic matter, including bacteria and cysts, from water. The filter is used as the last stage of filtration, preceded by carbon and sediment filters.
Mixed filter
Separation: 0,5μm
Capacity: 11.000l
Chlorine odor reduction
Lead content reduction
Reduction of bacteria and cysts
This filter is very good in reducing the smell of chlorine, it improves the taste of water and significantly reduces bacteria and cysts, as well as lead and other heavy metals.
